Hiking With Millennials

Took a quick break from scrolling through social media on my couch to go outside. It was kind of nice. Weird!

Who would’ve thought that sunlight would put me in a better mood than browsing through pictures of Instagram models who are younger and prettier than me?!

I know it sounds crazy, but give hiking a try. Not only is it good for your well-being, nature makes for great selfie backdrops.

Downsides: No Starbucks. Like, you’re supposed to climb a mountain and not “Treat Yo’Self” at the top with a Venti Iced White Chocolate Mocha with Extra Whipped Cream??? Is it really that hard to put a Starbucks vending machine on top of a 5,000-foot-peak surrounded by jagged rocks and thousand-foot drop-offs? I give it two stars on yelp. This is AMERICA!!!

However, if you go on a hike, you can also use the hashtag #wanderlust on Instagram. SO HOT RIGHT NOW!!

Being a millennial is all about the journey to “finding yourself”, and you can take however long you want. I DESERVE THIS TRIP TO BARCELONA. I STILL DON’T KNOW WHO I AM!!

Always use serious and inpirational quotes for your captions on Instagram. You’re living your best life and that car selfie is definitely motivating someone.

“Not all who wander are lost” is a great one for any and all travel pictures. Just because a million people have already used it, doesn’t make you any less unique.

And finally, the warm sunshine, the fresh air, and the light breeze all make for a great atmosphere to scroll through social media on your phone.

Thanks, nature!!!

(If you haven’t figured out by now, this is a parody article!)
